Father, you are the God of the weak, of the sick and of the broken. You are a Healer and nothing is impossible with you. With your grace, any wrong can be made right. With your love, any hurt can turn into joy. You made the blind see, you made the crippled walk. You even made the dead come back to life. You are powerful and mighty.

Father, I ask that you heal my uncle. Will you give him physical strength, Father. And the will to live. Cause him to be obedient to his doctors and comfort him, Father. Hold him at the palm of your hand and bless him with good health, Lord. Will you just rescue him and turn his anguish into joy.

May your will be done, Father. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Father God, I know that I have sinned. I know that I have lied and have done, said and thought of things that displease you and dishonor you. Father, I'm sorry. Will you please forgive me and take away the guilt from me? Will you hold me close and let me walk beside you once more, Father God? Because of what Jesus did on the cross, Father... I have confidence that I AM forgiven. Because of what my Saviour did on the cross, I thank you because my sins have been ERASED. Thank you, Father God. May you remove the guilt from me, Father God and hold me ever closer to you. In Jesus' name, I pray. Amen.

Father God, thank you... that inspite of our past that is shameful, you love us. you care for us and you transform us, little by little everyday.

about forgiveness

Mark 11:25-26 (New American Standard Bible): "Whenever you stand praying, forgive, if you have anything against anyone, so that your Father who is in heaven will also forgive you your transgressions."

Father God, thank you for your faithfulness to me and my family this past week. Thank you for restoring my cellphone to me, for the opportunity to pray for my cousin in NZ who is deeply troubled and sad, for keeping me safe while on my way to church and on my way back home and reminding me that you are in control and that you are ready to take care of me. Thank you for keeping my family and JP safe and in good health. Thank you also for reminding me in Matthew 11:28 that your yoke is easy and your burden is light and that in you, who is gentle and humble in heart, I will find my soul's rest. All this I pray, in Jesus' name. Amen.

psalms 86:11

Teach me your way O Lord,
and I will walk in your truth;
give me an undivided heart,
that I may fear your name.
